Problem
The webshops relied on manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows to hand orders off to the fulfilment partner. Refunds and cancellations were slow, error-prone, and hard to audit.
Rocketeer project
E-commerce backend that processes webshop orders and forwards them to a third-party fulfilment API, with dashboards for stats, orders, products, refunds, and cancellations.
Overview
ENGIN is the operational backend behind a set of webshops. It receives orders from the storefront, validates and enriches them, and forwards them to a third-party fulfilment API. On top of that, it exposes a React dashboard for the operations team covering live order status, product catalogue, refunds, cancellations, and revenue statistics.

Problem
The webshops relied on manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows to hand orders off to the fulfilment partner. Refunds and cancellations were slow, error-prone, and hard to audit.
Solution
A Laravel service that owns the order lifecycle end-to-end: it queues orders, retries against the fulfilment API, and reconciles state changes. A dedicated dashboard gives the operations team a single view of stats, orders, products, refunds, and cancellations.
Impact
Removed the manual handoff between storefront and fulfilment, shortened refund/cancellation cycles from days to minutes, and made revenue and order health observable in real time.
